How the edit is built
Each piece in the Maison Carat collection is selected against a brief that asks whether the object can be worn often and returned to season after season. We focus on construction, materials and proportion, and we describe those attributes as they are — without exaggeration, and without hiding the practical details.
The result is a considered set of watches, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, rings and pendants. Some are everyday. Some are kept for occasions. All are chosen with the same patience.
Canadian service
Orders are confirmed by the Maison Carat team from Ottawa. We answer questions about specific pieces, sizes and materials, and we make sure the right piece reaches the right customer before payment is completed.
What we don't do
We do not invent a long company history to make the present feel smaller. We do not display fake reviews, certifications or awards. We do not write copy that overstates what a piece is. If we don't know a specification, we leave it out rather than guess.
Considered
The edit is built slowly and reviewed often. Pieces that don't earn their place are removed.
Restrained
Marketing language is kept short. The objects are intended to do most of the work.
Personal
Orders are confirmed by the team. Questions are answered by people who actually handled the piece.
